Virgin Story release date: When and where to watch Vikram Sahidev's coming-of-age tale in Telugu

Another child actor is testing new waters as a lead actor in a couple of weeks across the Telugu states. Vikram Sahidev, the child artiste who impressed audiences with his performances in Race Gurram, Rudramadevi, Naa Peru Surya and Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini, sparkled as a performer in Rowdy Boys (his first appearance as an adult) recently. While he was cast in a role with grey shades in Rowdy Boys, he'll be the face of another film titled Virgin Story, that's set to hit theatres on February 18.

Virgin Story, a coming of age tale (captioned - 'Kotthaga Rekkalochena' that translates to 'he's got wings recently?'), is written, directed by first-time filmmaker Pradip B Atluri. Produced by Lagadapati Sireesha Sridhar, the film also features Sowmika Pandiyan, Rishika Khanna and Vineeth Bavisetty in key roles. The film's teaser and a few songs like Manasa Ninnala, Kotthaga Rekkalochena and Baby I'm in Love were launched recently and did strike a chord with young audiences.

"The film is a perfect youthful entertainer and Vikram is sure to garner applause as an actor," the writer-director Pradip is confident. Achu Rajamani has scored the music for Virgin Story which has Anish Tharun Kumar cranking the camera. Edited by Garry BH, the film's album is lyricised by Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar and Anantha Sriram.

The makers further add, "Virgin Story is for all teengers and their parents to understand the mind frame of the younger generation. It talks of feelings and moments that are sure to change our idea of romance, love and life completely. The film is about a generation that's willing to break free from the the norms of a stereotypical society and also suggests that all good things takes time, be it career, passion, or love."
