A video featuring Shah Rukh Khan has been going viral. The clip raises an important question on consent. Female fans are seen forcibly kissing Shah Rukh Khan in the said video. The act has made many uncomfortable and question the act altogether. The user who posted the video also raised the same question and asked what if it were a role reverse and male fans treated female stars the same way.

The viral video

A Reddit user shared the video and asked what would happen if it was a female actor with a bunch of male fans. If these fans would behave with the female staff in the same way, the fans would be in jail. Meanwhile, SRK tried to keep calm even when the situation was uncalled for. “This happened with SRK many times. But What will happen if same thing done to any female actor with bunch of male fans. Male fans will be in jail!,” read the caption on the video.

A user pointed out how one kiss was too close to SRK’s lips and deciphered that is why the actor keeps his lips pursed together. “One wrong move and he’s got a strangers tongue down his throat,” the user shared. Another SRK fan said that she would not do that to him no matter how much she loves him. She, like many, questioned if there was any consent taken, because the actor is clearly (and obviously) uncomfortable. Another user called it ‘pure harassment’ and how the actor was ‘kind assaulted.’

Shah Rukh Khan is currently making headlines for his recent film, Jawan. The Atlee directorial is crossing Rs. 500 crores at the Box Office soon. With that, it would beat Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 to become the third highest grossing film of the year. SRK would be competing with his own self at the Box Office, since his previous release Pathaan is the second highest grossing movie of all time and the highest grossing film of the year.
