Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar looked visibly upset and uncomfortable as a swarm of fans crowded around, seeking quick selfies with him at the Chennai airport on Wednesday. Even though Ajith commands a huge fan following, he's known for his unassuming demeanour and unburdened approach to stardom. And he's not the one who is comfortable with anyone invading his personal space even in the public settings.

While Ajith seems to oblige to fans' requests for a photograph, he is clearly not a fan of those who chase and take pictures without his permission. In another video, fans intercepted Ajith, forcing him to take pictures with them. Despite his visible irritation, Ajith maintained his composure and eventually made his way to his car. "Dude he seems so uncomfortable. Why would you subject him to this?," asked a Twitter user, reacting to one of the vrail videos.

"Poor fellow going through torture after long travel, celebrity life is tough," wrote another social media user.

The fans who mobbed Ajith seemed to be not bothered by his visible cues and continued to pester him for selfies.

Vidaa Muyarchi update?

On the career front, Ajith was last seen in Thunivu, which was released in cinemas earlier this year. Although the movie received mixed reviews, it became a huge hit at the box office. However, Ajith's next project has been in a limbo.

Ajith has a deal with Lyca Productions. He was supposed to act under the direction of filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. After a lot of media hype and discussions, the project was dropped as the producers were not happy with Vignesh's script.

Later, the producers roped in Magizh Thirumeni to helm Ajith's next. The project named Vidaa Muyarchi is now in post-production. However, it seems the project is still reeling under some problems. Speculations are rife that Lyca Productions might drop Vidaa Muyarchi too. However, no official confirmation on the same yet.
