VIRAL: Take a look at Gehraiyaan star Deepika Padukone showing off her new chic hairdo

The actress is currently working on films Shah Rukh Khan-John Abraham’s Pathaan and Prabhas- Amitabh Bachchan’s Project K.

Deepika Padukone wowed critics and audiences alike with her stellar performance in her recent film, Gehraiyaan. The film, directed by Shakun Batra, deals with some hard-hitting themes such as the complexities of relationships and how trauma can shape one’s life. Although the actress is certainly keeping herself busy with some upcoming high-profile projects as well, it does not mean she cannot take time for herself. Padukone recently unveiled a new chic hairdo she got recently.

In a viral clip, less than 30-seconds-long, that has been doing the rounds on social media, she can be seen sitting in a salon showing off her freshly cut locks. In the video, Padukone is seen showcasing the different angles of her new hairstyle and taking a few mirror selfies. Users have set the clip against different songs, such as songs from the Gehraiyaan soundtrack, in particular Doobey and the title track.

Meanwhile, the actress has her hands full with her upcoming highly anticipated projects. She is currently working on the spy thriller Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is definitely one a lot of cinephiles in the country are looking forward to, as it features Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after almost three years. The star’s last starring role was in 2018’s Zero, which also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Pathaan, which also stars John Abraham, had finally unveiled its release date a few days ago .

Padukone is also in the midst of filming a pan Indian film, Project K as well. The film, helmed by Nag Ashwin, will mark her first onscreen collaboration with Prabhas. Amitabh Bachchan also essays a pivotal role in the film.
