Hollywood actor Vin Diesel is currently swamped with upcoming films lined up for release. Recently, the action star shared an unseen picture with Indian actress Deepika Padukone and director D. J. Caruso during his visit to India. He even asked for suggestions for the co-star of his next untitled project. Fans were quick to come up with different suggestions for the leads.

Actor-producer Vin Diesel on Tuesday dropped a throwback picture featuring his xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage co-star Deepika Padukone and director D. J. Caruso. The picture dates back to his visit to India, when he fulfilled his promise to visit the country. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the directors who chose to work with him more than once. D. J. Caruso. For the unversed, the filmmaker behind xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage (D. J. Caruso) will be teaming up again with Diesel for an untitled project.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Vin wrote, “When I think about the amount of directors that have wanted to work with me more than once I am always just humbled. This is a pic of when I went to India as I promised Deepika I would, with the director at the time, DJ Caruso…”
In the picture, Vin is helping Deepika to wear her coat, while DJ is seen sitting comfortably in an Indian vehicle (Auto).

The 56-year-old actor also recalled an incident when his eldest daughter was so moved by his upcoming film’s script that it made her cry and emotional. He then revealed the reason as an emotionally charged story about a brother and sister. “My oldest daughter read the script that DJ sent to me, thinking that it would fall into the Pacifier bracket. She cried… I asked her why she cried, and she said because the story of a brother and sister rang true for her and it was emotional,” he shared in the post.

He also revealed that his daughter suggested Jennifer Lawrence as the leading character of a sister in his new movie. Later, he asked the netizens to share their opinions on the same. Soon, the comment section was immersed with suggestions, with many hailing Deepika Padukone as the lead. While others suggested Zendaya and Jennifer Lawrence as the promising character of the sister. Talking about his upcoming project, Vin expressed his heartfelt gratitude to be a part of so many upcoming projects. The actor-turned-producer has many interesting projects lined up in the pipeline, including Barbie’s followup film, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em, which is also backed by Mattel. Other projects include Riddick 4, Fast and Furious Finale, Kojak, and The Last Witch Hunter 2.
