Vimanam stars Samuthirakani and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles
Samauthirakani is in the best phase of his career and doing back to back films. More than Tamil, he is doing Telugu films and has close to half a dozen films lined up in his kitty. First in line is Vimanam, a heart wrenching father and son family drama. Smauthirakani plays the main lead in this film and will be seen as a poor handicapped man who goes all out to fulfill his son's wish.
Speaking in one of the interviews, Samuthirakani says that Vimanam's character challenged the actor in him. There were so many instances in the film where I had real tears in my eyes, says the award winning ator. Adding further, he says "Vimanam will showcase my complete acting prowess and will surely impress everyone".
Though the story of Vimanam looks a bit routine, the new-age setup and realistic approach taken by director Siva Prasad Yanala looks interesting in the trailer. Anasuya Bharadwaj plays a key role in this film and she too looks impressive in a bold character. The makers are promoting the film on an aggressive note and will very soon hold a pre-release event in Hyderabad.
Vimanam has music by Charan Arjun and Hanu Ravuri penned the dialogues. The family drama is all set for a release on the 9th of June in both Tamil and Telugu. On the other hand, Smauthirakani is also directing a film titled BRO, starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in lead roles. He was last seen in RRR and will play a key role in Mahes Babu's Guntur Kaaram.
