Vikrant Rona trailer: The internet will be on fire on June 23, say fans

The moment everyone’s been waiting for – a glimpse into the world of Vikrant Rona – will be here in less than a week.

Kiccha Sudeep’s most anticipated 3D fantasy-action-thriller, Vikrant Rona, is releasing in theatres on July 28. The team, led by the actor and director Anup Bhandari had a plan in place for the film’s promotions in the run-up to its date with audiences. In fact, they’d even released a promotional tour map, with song launches and surprise announcements galore before the trailer drops and then the film hits theatres.

But then, they decided to change things around and had Gadang Rakkamma – The Queen of Good Times as the first single, instead of Hey Fakira, on May 23. The Sudeep and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer song was supposed to be among the last updates for the film before its release. In fact, when Sudeep teased a second update earlier this month, he had written, “Await the next excitement ,,,,, soooooonnnnnnn 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂.. Next comes _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 😉”, which had fans speculating that it would be Hey Fakira. Turns out, it’s not. As of today, we know that the Vikrant Rona trailer is coming out on June 23.

Fans, of course, couldn’t be happier with this mega arrival. Amid all the excitement surrounding the news, though, they also noticed just how superb Ajaneesh B Loknath’s score for the trailer release announcement was. “Background music bhenki babaladi🔥🔥,” wrote one, while another added, “BGM @AJANEESHB 🔥🔥.”

Of course, there were some who thought that the team was being too hasty in releasing the trailer more than a month ahead of the film. They urged Sudeep and Anup to instead stick to the plan and let the songs drop first and have the trailer closer to July 28. “When u releasing on July 28 it's kinda bad decision to launch trailer soon hope you guys cut the trailer in a grand way boss we need perfect planning and to execute that I have high hopes on these project pls 🙌show what ur capable to these whole world,” wrote a fan.

The bigger question now is if the team has any major plans for the trailer launch. In fact, the Gadang Rakkamma song launch was supposed to have happened at an on-ground event in the presence of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, but that did not pan out eventually. There've been no media interactions with the team of the film yet, so the trailer launch may be a big event after all. Well, let's wait to hear from Sudeep. He has, after all, not let us know at what time on the 23rd the trailer will be out.
