The pre-release promotional activity for Vikrant Rona is currently in full swing. Having already released the film’s trailer to a superb response, the makers are now keeping the buzz alive by releasing back-to-back songs from the soundtrack. In this vein, the third single from the Vikrant Rona album, titled Hey Fakira, will be out on July 12 at 5:02 pm.

Hey Fakira will lay focus mainly on Nirup Bhandari’s character of Sanjeev Gambhira, a crucial pawn in the scheme of things. Although not much is known about Nirup’s role in the film, reports have previously suggested that he will be seen playing a “jovial and friendly” character. This would be the RangiTaranga actor’s first collaboration with Kiccha Sudeep and third with his older brother and director Anup Bhandari, having previously headlined both RangiTaranga and Rajaratha.

Alongside, Vikrant Rona’s principal cast also includes Neetha Ashok who plays Aparna Ballal, fondly referred to as Panna in the film. As the westernized, adventure-seeker from Mumbai, Neetha’s character proves to be an integral member of the story, both in terms of substance and screen time. Neetha Ashok began her acting career on TV before she was recommended to the team by Kiccha Sudeep himself, who had previously met her at a social event.

Coming back to the music of Vikrant Rona, the Ajaneesh B. Loknath-composed soundtrack comprises five different tracks out of which two have already made their way out. The first single was released one month ago in the form of Ra Ra Rakkamma, a special track featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Kiccha Sudeep - Jacqueline plays the role of Raquel D’Costa a.k.a Gadang Rakkamma, and makes her Kannada debut with Vikrant Rona. The second song from the album is The Lullaby Song: Rajkumari which focuses on the emotional father-daughter bond of the story, sung by Vijay Prakash and lyrics written by Anup Bhandari himself. Apart from Hey Fakira and the two aforementioned songs, the Vikrant Rona soundtrack includes Gumma Banda Gumma and Chikki Gombe. All the songs will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Vikrant Rona will release worldwide on July 28.
