Earlier this month, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur welcomed their newborn into the world. Today, the couple revealed their baby’s name.

Vikrant Massey and his fans, rejoice! We know that the 36-year-old actor was overjoyed following the triumph of his recent theatrical release, '12th Fail'. Adding charm to the celebrations, Vikrant Massey and his wife Sheetal Thakur also celebrated their first child's arrival on February 7. While news surrounding the couple refuses to die down, Vikrant on Friday disclosed the name of their newborn son.

Vikrant Massey names his son ‘Vardaan’

On February 7, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby boy. They affectionately named their newborn Vardaan. Sharing their happiness with the world, Vikrant and Sheetal unveiled a captivating new photograph on Instagram, offering a glimpse of their precious bundle of joy.

“Nothing short of a blessing…We named him VARDAAN!!!” wrote Vikrant in his Instagram post. Lakhs of social media users have liked the post including famous actor Vicky Kaushal.

In the post, the first image depicted Vikrant and Sheetal donning matching pink outfits radiating smiles of pure joy. Little Vardaan appeared utterly adorable as he peacefully slept in Sheetal's embrace. The subsequent image showcased a charming toy with the name 'Vardaan' elegantly inscribed upon it.

Vikrant Massey and his journey in Bollywood

Actor Vikrant Massey began his acting journey with Dhoom Machaao Dhoom (2007) and ventured into television with shows like Dharam Veer (2008), Balika Vadhu (2009–2010), and Qubool Hai (2013). Transitioning to Bollywood, Massey took on supporting roles in films like Lootera (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and Half Girlfriend (2017).

His career took a significant turn with the independent drama A Death in the Gunj (2017), where he played a pivotal role. Massey also made his mark in the digital realm with leading roles in streaming series like Mirzapur (2018), Broken But Beautiful (2018–2019), and Criminal Justice (2019). In 2023, he portrayed Manoj Kumar Sharma in the biographical film 12th Fail (2023), further showcasing his versatility and talent.
