Vikrant Massey has revealed what has happened as stardom happened to him. He spoke about how people his age have come to touch his feet. Seeing so, Vikrant feels very weird. The actor was promoting his film 12th Fail and was talking to Miss Malini during an interview, when he made the revelation.
Vikrant on how people treat him
Vikrant said, “There’s somebody who is almost my mother or father’s age. They stand up, salute me and call me sir. People touch my feet. I don’t like that.”
Vikrant’s reaction
Vikrant wonders why do people behave the way they do. He gets annoyed with it and feels weird when that happens. The actor also feels what has he done to deserve that and says that the fans should behave that way with their parents or those who helped them. “I don’t deserve that unnecessary hype-up,” he said.
Vikrant wants people to be treated as equals
Stating that he would like people to treat each other equally, Vikrant said that it is great when fans love his work and it is important to him since people invest their time and money to watch his film. He wishes that his work inspires and entertains people but that he feels is no reason for the hype.
Vikrant’s film 12th Fail
Vikrant’s latest release is 12th Fail, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie released along with Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas. 12th Fail has been lauded by critics and viewers alike. It is the most recommended film in theatres currently.
