Vikrant Massey has been around for a long time, but he has only lately gotten his due credit because of the critical success of his film 12th Fail. The actor moved from television to movies a few years after he started his acting career. Massey has worked with a wide variety of actors over his career in show business. He recently discussed his encounters with fake, unprofessional performers in an interview. According to him, these actors, he said, spend too much time on set preparing reels and too little time actually doing their jobs.

Encounters with unprofessionalism

Massey told Samdish Bhatia that he always sees it. When they get to set, some actors immediately begin making reels. There's no name-dropping here, but that person knows, and they found out about it there; thus, Massey achieved his goal. He went on to say that his only possession is his job, which he expresses himself through facial expressions. His job is satisfying, and performing is his life.

Admiration for Farhan Akhtar's work ethic

Farhan Akhtar was cited by Massey as an example of someone who should be admired and emulated. He stated that the multihyphenated actor-filmmaker's example is truly motivating and asks what is lacking in his life. Javed Akhtar is his father, and even though his sister Zoya Akhtar was the film's director and producer on the set of Dil Dhadakne Do Farhan never brought the screenplay with him to rehearsals. He recalled every one of his lines, as well as those of the other people.
