Chiyaan Vikram's portrayal of Aditha Karikalan in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 has earned him widespread acclaim and admiration. After the success of Mani Ratnam's film, the versatile Kollywood actor has teamed up with sensational director Pa Ranjith for his upcoming project, ‘Thangalaan’. While there hasn't been an official confirmation from the production team, there's buzz online that suggests that the film could release during Pongal 2024.
The shooting of ‘Thangalaan’ has concluded, and post-production work is now in full swing. Online speculations have ignited considerable excitement among audiences, although a formal announcement regarding the movie's release date is still pending. If rumours are to be believed, then the film will clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s eagerly-awaited sci-fi adventure film Ayalaan.
