Netflix’s Vikings sequel series Vikings: Valhalla’s trailer has been unveiled and it promises a lot of grandeur and intense action. The series, a period war drama, talks about the conflict between the Vikings and the English King as the two get into a battle for the North. The series is set over 100 years after the end of original series, Vikings.
Vikings: Valhalla sees the rise of legendary warriors like Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eriksdotter and Harald Sigurdsson. It wouldn’t be wrong to call this series a good blend of historical drama and intense action.

While Leif is a legendary explorer, Fredyis is his ‘fiery and headstrong’ sister. Meanwhile, Harald is nothing like them, for he is a Nordic prince who is ambitious in life.
The Vikings and English King clash over many things, one of which is whether to follow the Christian or pagan belief. The journey follows from Kattegat to England and even beyond that. The Vikings have to fight for basic survival and hope to achieve glory for all they do.
Sam Corlett plays the role of Leif while Frida Gustavsson is seen as Fredyis. Leo Suter plays the third Viking, Harald. Caroline Henderson is seen in the role of Jark Haakon, Bradley Freegard plays King Canute, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson is seen as Olaf Haraldsson, Pollyanna McIntosh as Ælfgifu of Northampton, Asbjørn Krogh as Jarl Kare, David Oakes as Earl Godwin, Pääru Oja as Arne Gormsson and Louis Davison as Prince Edmund.
For the uninitiated, Vikings ran for six seasons from 2013 to 2021. Now, Vikings: Valhalla is set to continue its legacy from February 25.
