Vikas Bahl confirms sequel to Kangana Ranaut's Queen is in the works, teases exciting details
Vikas Bahl has confirmed that a sequel to Queen is in the works, while also teasing the possibility of Shaitaan 2 and more exciting projects.

Famed films directed by Vikas Bahl include Chillar Party Queen, Super 30, and Shaitaan, among many more. Despite the films' critical and commercial success, there has been constant talk about a Queen series starring Kangana Ranaut. Queen 2 is currently in production, as the filmmaker has finally confirmed.
Queen 2 in production: Vikas Bahl confirms the sequel
Bahl stated to Pinkvilla when discussing his upcoming films that they have been working on Queen 2 for a while now, and finally they have something concrete. The filmmaker is not disclosing details about the sequel, but he did confirm that production has begun. The hilarious escapade Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling is now filming in Goa, which is Bahl's next directorial. Starring Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi, the eccentric entertainer takes place in Goa within the context of a middle-class household.
Bahl added that Jaya Bachchan—who is doing a role she hasn't had in a long time—makes up the fantastic cast. They are thoroughly enjoying the process of creating it. There is a lock on over 80% of the film, and it's a romantic comedy with a wild twist.
Shaitaan 2 and other upcoming projects by Vikas Bahl
In addition, the filmmaker confirmed that Shaitaan 2 is in the works. With all the fresh stories coming his way, he tends to get quite distracted, but he believes it should be made. He feels jealous that he hasn't yet explored the possibility of creating a universe. Putting that aside, Bahl is also in possession of an action thriller, and he intends to discover uncharted territories.
The 2013 film Queen revolutionised the genre by adding female leads to mainstream slice-of-life films. The film has earned a reputation as one of Kangana's finest works, and the actor won her second National Film Award for her incredible performance.
