The actor expressed his gratitude to his fans at the big launch
The much-awaited audio launch of Vijay's Varisu was held at a packed hall at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai last evening. Vijay fans turned up in droves and witnessed their favourite matinee idol live. What's interesting is that Vijay gave a flying kiss to his fans, just like in the song Ranjithame. Soon, Rashmika and choreographer Jani put up a live gig. While Ranjithame and Thee Thalapathy have already been released, the third song, Vaa Thalaivaa, was performed live by playback singer Shankar Mahadevan. The other songs in the album include Papa Papa, Jimikki and the theme songs.
Vijay addressed his fans later and thanked them for their constant support during his journey in films. The highlight of the event was a video selfie that Vijay took along with his fans. He later shared the same on his social media handle and captioned it, '#EnNenjilKudiyirukkum'. The video and the selfie have gone viral on social media and fans have been widely sharing the same. Many others, who took selfies with the actor also shared their excitement of having worked with the actor in Varisu.
