Vijay’s Beast team to recreate Kashmir in Georgia for army sequences

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan and Yogi Babu

Vijay’s upcoming action thriller Beast is one of the most anticipated movies of the year in South India. The movie is directed by Nelson, who has found big success with Doctor starring Sivakarthikeyan.

The latest update from the movie is that the team of Beast along with Vijay is traveling to the USA as part of its production. As reported by Pinkvilla, the team will be filming in Georgia.

“The makers are recreating Kashmir and the Indo – Pak border in Georgia to shoot some army based sequences featuring Thalapathy Vijay,” said a source close to the production to Pinkvilla.

The source has also confirmed that there will be portions in the movie where the star will play an Indian soldier, who is stationed in Kashmir.

The movie will also see Pooja Hegde play the love interest and Selvaraghavan as the main antagonist. The movie also stars Yogi Babu and Shine Tom Chacko among other names.

The movie is quickly gathering more hype among fans, who believe the movie is bound to be another blockbuster hit for the star. Inside reports for the movie have also revealed as much.

The expectations of the fans have gotten bigger after Nelson’s Doctor became a success, having collected over RS 100 crore. The black comedy thriller is only the director’s second movie after his debut Kolamaavu Kokila.

Vijay was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Master which became a massive hit as a post-pandemic movie, receiving fairly positive reviews.
