Vijay Varma to star opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Sujoy Ghosh's next, actor shares a quirky post

Actor Vijay Varma rose to fame after playing Moeen Arif in the Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy in 2019. The actor has been seen in multiple movies and series since then and has gathered immense praise among the audience. He was also applauded for portraying twin brothers characters in Mirzapur 2 on Amazon Prime Video. It has been recently unveiled that the actor is gearing up to star opposite Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan in Sujoy Gosh's upcoming untitled project, which also has Jaideep Ahlawat.

Sharing his excitement about the highly-anticipated venture the actor mentioned in a recent statement that he has been waiting to tell the world about it because not only is the script so amazing but also the kind of team he is getting to work with. "Having Sujoy Ghosh as your director is an honour in itself and then to share screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan is really exciting," he added.

Vijay further added that he has admired the Bollywood diva's work for a long time and he's definitely really looking forward to this journey together.

To share his excitement about his forthcoming venture with the renowned filmmaker, the OK Computer actor shared quirky post on his IG handle. The caption reads, "This is the first text I received from Sujoy sir. It brought such a big smile on my face. How can you not want to work with anyone who is this awesome. This was sept. We met in dec and work started on this new film. Excited! #learnfromthebest P.S. no I wasn’t in Rangoon. I was on a long sched in Varanasi which he knew (sic)."

Meanwhile, Vijay is also set to be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Darlings, which marks the 29-year-old actress' first production and also stars Shefali Shah in major role.
