Actor Vijay, who is currently working in GOAT, is set to play both hero and villain in the Venkat Prabhu directorial
Actor Vijay may have announced his political entry, but that has not stopped his fanbase from building much expectations on his upcoming film GOAT- Greatest of All Time. While the production for the film is on and director Venkat Prabhu has said that the film will be VFX heavy, a new report suggests that Vijay will be seen playing both the protagonist and antagonist in GOAT. Further, it is also reported that actor Trisha, who has worked with Vijay in Leo, Ghilli, and Thirupachi, will be making a cameo appearance in GOAT.
The makers of GOAT had released a bunch of posters from the film during the start of the year. They hinted that Vijay will be seen in dual avatars, young and old. While the film is speculated to be revolving around time travel, a report by DT Next said the actor will play both the villain and hero of the film. Further, GOAT will also feature a dance number in which both Vijay and Prabhudheva will shake a leg. However, the makers have remained tight-lipped about the film and its plot details.
GOAT also stars Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ajmal Ameer, Prashanth, and Prabhudheva, among others. It is also expected to feature Venkat Prabhu’s regular ensemble including Vaibhav, Aravind Akash Premgi and others. GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by AGS Entertainment.
Further adding to the star ensemble, the report added that actor Trisha will be seen making a guest appearance in GOAT. She has shot for her portions and will be seen in a combination scene with the cast and also in a song. Trisha has been paired with Vijay in a number of hit films, including in the actor’s last outing Leo. Trisha and Vijay have shared the screen space in Ghilli, Aadhi, and Thirupachi to name a few.
A release date for GOAT is yet to be revealed by the makers. GOAT is said to be Vijay’s last but one film before he plunges into full-time politics.
