Mysskin and Vijay Sethupathi's association
This is the sophomore project of Vijay Sethupathi with the ace director. The actor had earlier made a cameo appearance in Mysskin's last outing, Pisaasu 2, which has Andrea Jeremiah in the lead. Vijay Sethupathi played a 16-minute-long cameo, in which he appeared as a doctor. Mysskin had revealed during the making of Pisaasu 2 that he wanted to work with Vijay Sethupathi and that he was writing a script with the actor in mind.
Mysskin appears in Leo
In the meantime, the director will be seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film, Leo. Mysskin is said to be playing one of the prime antagonists in the Vijay-starrer.
Speaking to the media earlier, Mysskin had said that though his role is a short one, it's quite interesting. He added that he loved working with Vijay after a long hiatus (the duo had worked in the feel-good drama Youth) and that the star had not changed one bit. He said that he could still feel the warmth in him. Calling Lokesh Kanagaraj, a sweet lad, Mysskin said that the youngster treated him with high regard.
Mysskin's baddie role, a hit in Maaveeran
Mysskin had earlier appeared in Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran as the corrupt politician Jeyakodi, who is referred to as Yaman (the god of death). His role in the film, which was laced with comedy, had become a huge hit among the audience.
