Vijay Sethupathi has recalled how he enjoyed the street food delicacies while shooting for his upcoming Hindi movie Merry Christmas in Mumbai.
Vijay Sethupathi is one of the biggest foodies among the film stars in India. While many stars deny themselves the pleasure of indulging in their favourite food, so that they could look a certain way, Sethupathi appears unconcerned about his looks or weight.
In a recent interview, Sethupathi recalled how he enjoyed the street food delicacies while shooting for his upcoming Hindi movie Merry Christmas in Mumbai. He noted that even while going to five-star hotels for dinner, he used to pause to enjoy the best food that Mumbai's streets had to offer. "Last night before going to Taj Lands I ate Chana mixed with lemon juice and butter. It was so yummy. I like street foods," he said.
Sethupathi also praised the "awesome" street foods in Chennai, and during the conversation, Katrina Kaif chimed in with a dosa recommendation for him in Mumbai. Her colleagues were taken aback by her suggestion, to which she confidently declared, "Sir, I believe you'll find the best dosas in Bombay at my house."
When Sethupathi curiously wanted to know who makes Mumbai's "best dosas" at her house, Katrina playfully said, "I do." But, she was only joking. She revealed that her cook makes them but everyone who had the privilege to taste it felt that they were the best dosas in all of Mumbai.
Sethupathi added to the conversation by revealing that his wife Jessy is also a very good cook and she is well-versed in making different kinds of chutneys.
