In less than two months, actor Vijay Deverakonda will look forward to entertain audiences across the country with his first pan-Indian release Liger. The film, to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages on August 25, is directed by Puri Jagannadh and has Ananya Pandey playing the female lead. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande and Getup Srinu also play crucial roles in the film.

The makers of Liger have now released a new poster from the film where Vijay Deverakonda has almost gone full monty and flaunts his physique while holding a bunch of roses. The team believes the poster is a statement that he could to 'any lengths' for his films. Sharing the poster across his social media handles, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "A Film that took my everything. As a performance, Mentally, physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming Soon."

Vijay Deverakonda underwent immense transformation to play an MMA Fighter in the film. International icon Mike Tyson is also cast in a meaty role in the movie and a special birthday video of the legend released earlier this week impressed one and all. The team recently filmed a song featuring the lead pair in Mumbai and plans to kickstart the promotions shortly. One can expect regular updates from team Liger in the coming days.

Liger is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions in association with Puri connects. Vishnu Sarma has cranked the camera while Thailand-based Kecha is the stunt director. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor and Jonny Shaik Basha is the art director respectively.
