Vijay Antony's Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan team to wrap up film soon

It looks like the team of Vijay Antony’s Mazhai Pidikka Manithan is working on the post production in full swing. The film, which is touted to be an action thriller, has Vijay Antony and Megha Akash playing the lead roles, along with Sarath Kumar. The film’s producer Dhananjayan shared the update on his social media page along with a picture of the team glued to the monitor. He stated that only two days of work was pending and that they are gearing up for the final wrap.

He wrote, “#MazhaiPidikkathaManithan from producers @FVInfiniti @bKamalBohra @pradeepfab @lalithagd Last two days patch work is on by @vijaymilton sir with @vijayantony… excited the film will wrap up and gear up for release soon. (sic)”

Yet another interesting fact about Mazhai Pidikka Manithan is that the film marks the comeback of Captain Vijayakanth. The veteran actor has been missing on the film front, and was last seen in Sagaptham (2015), which marked the acting debut of his son Shanmugapandian. And considering the film is an action flick, a genre the veteran actor is known for, his comeback is much awaited by the audiences. The rest of the star cast includes Saranya Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Murali Sharma and Praniti.

Along with penning the script for the action entertainer and doubling as the director, Vijay Milton has also cranked the camera for the film. Vijay Antony has composed the songs in the album and Achu Rajamani has scored the background music.

In the meantime, Vijay Antony is awaiting the release of Thamezharasan (directed by Babu Yogeswaran), Agni Siragugal (directed by Naveen), and Khaki (directed by A Senthil Kumar). He also has in his kitty Kolai and Ratham and is expected to make his directorial debut with Pichaikkaran 2. And just like in Pichaikkaran, Vijay Antony will play the lead in the sequel as well.
