Vignesh on Pranayagodari: I have sold my assets and took loans to release the film

Pranayagodari is an upcoming Telugu film starring Sadan and Priyanka Prasad in the lead roles. The film is set to release on December 13, 2024. Directed by P. L. Vignesh, the project has been a labor of love, with the filmmaker overcoming numerous challenges to bring it to the big screen.

"I made this film for my brother and have been struggling to release it," Vignesh shared. "Not many know that I sold all my assets to make Pranayagodari and took additional loans to ensure its release. I never realized how difficult it was to make a film, but even more challenging has been releasing it. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this project for my brother, Markandeya, who composed the music for the film."

Despite competition from big-ticket films like Pushpa 2, distributors have stepped forward to give Pranayagodari a decent release, according to Vignesh. The film's pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, where personalities like Sohel attended and appealed to the audience to support the movie, emphasizing the hard work put in by the newcomers.

The film also features Sai Kumar in a pivotal role, which is said to be a key element of the story. Speaking about the project, Vignesh described Pranayagodari as a hard-hitting drama with a powerful message.

Produced by Paramalla Lingaiah under the banner of PLV Creations, the makers have already secured a lucrative deal for the film's OTT rights. Vignesh reflected on his journey, saying, "I made this film with all my heart, and I’m super confident it will become a talking point after its release."
