Vidyut Jammwal on being engaged to Nandita Mahtani: If you can give your love to someone, why not?

Vidyut Jammwal got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Nandita Mahtani on October 12, 2021. The actor will release his first film, Khuda Haafiz 2: Agni Pariksha, after that. He spoke about his engagement for the first time in a long time and it was adorable.

While talking to Zoom, Vidyut said, “Consistency is the virtue. Happiness has been there for the longest time.” He was, of course, talking about his courtship with Nandita.

He then added, “You’ve just got to give a lot of love to everybody and a little more to that special one. Why not?”

On the work front, Vidyut became a ‘force’ to reckon ever since he made his debut opposite John Abraham in the movie, Force. He is one of the few actors who broke out and got franchise films of his own.

While Vidyut was already heading Commando sequels on his shoulders, he is now appearing in the second installment of his 2020 film, Khuda Haafiz. Khuda Haafiz 2 sees him reprise the role of Sameer Chaudhary.

The original film saw Sameer’s wife Nargis go out of India in search for a job. She was not offered a job and was instead taken as a sex worker against her will. Back in the direct-to-OTT film, Sameer fought to bring Nargis back to him.

This time around, with Khuda Haafiz too, Sameer and Nargis have adopted a child to be able to forget their trauma. However, things get worse when their baby girl gets kidnapped and is either already murdered or will be killed soon.

Sameer has already served prison time and so, he has seen some tough times. However, is he ready for the ‘Agni Pariksha?’ That is what the movie, releasing in theatres on July 8, will explore.

Post its theatrical run, Khuda Haafiz 2: Agni Pariksha will release on Zee5. The makers have not yet set a date for the release.
