Vidyut Jammwal has said that he is sick of rich people pretending to be sad and depressed. He shared that these people cannot feel that way if they have real friends. The actor promises he has true friends and so, he never felt lonely in life.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, when Vidyut was asked if he felt lonely after migrating to Mumbai, he said that he never felt lonely and doesn’t even know the meaning of the word because he has many friends who do not let him feel lonely. He calls being lonely a ‘rich feeling.’

“I'm sick of rich people being sad and depressed. Haq nahi hai unko,” Vidyut said.

The actor then recalled that these people already are what others aspire to be. He points out that his Khuda Haafiz co-star Shivaleeka, who has had to face struggles, should feel that way and even then, she goes out of her way to be there for people.

Vidyut is currently awaiting the release of his movie, Khuda Haafiz 2. The movie is a sequel to his 2020 Disney+Hotstar release.

Khuda Haafiz Chapter II: Agni Pariksha will release in theatres on July 8. The movie will then be streaming on Zee5 post its theatrical run.

The film stars Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role while Shivaleeka Oberoi plays the female lead. Dibyendu Bhattacharya plays one of the lead antagonists in the movie.

Khuda Haafiz, the original film, dealt with the times of recession and how Sameer Chaudhary’s wife Nargis had to face the consequences of travelling outside India under a false pretext. The franchise films are helmed by Faruk Kabir, who made his directorial debut with the project.
