Vidya Vasula Aham OTT release date - The Shivani Rajashekar and Rahul Vijay-starrer was supposed to release in January 2024, but the romantic drama has opted for a direct OTT release.
Vidya Vasula Aham
It looks like there is no stopping the Telugu OTT platform Aha. With each passing day, Aha is churning out original content one after the other. Next in line is a feature film that will skip its theatrical release and be out on Aha soon. The film in discussion is Vidya Vasula Aham, featuring Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar in lead roles.
Aha has announced that it has bagged the OTT rights to this film and announced the same with a swanky new poster. Going back in time, Vidya Vasula Aham was a film that was supposed to be released in Sankranthi 2024. But for some reason, the makers did not release it. Now, months later, Aha has announced that the film will be a direct OTT release.
Vidya Vasula Aham is directed by Manikanth Gelli. He is the same director who also helmed the hit film Thellavarithe Guruvaram. The romantic drama is produced by Lakshmi Navya Makkapati and Ranjith Kumar Kodali under their Eternity Entertainment banner. Kalyani Malik composed the music for the film, and the entire album will be released very soon.
The special aspect of Vidya Vasula Aham is that the pair of Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar have already shared screen space for the film Kota Bommali PS the official remake of the Malayalam hit Nayattu. As their pair was liked by one and all, the makers roped them in for Vidya Vasula Aham.
The title itself suggests that the film is about the clash of egos in a relationship. The poster looks cool, and Aha will soon release the trailer. We have also learned that the makers have locked a decent deal and are in a profit zone by choosing to release the film on OTT.
This film is quite important for Shivani and Rahul as their careers are just getting started. We need to see how the film performs on Aha. Watch this space for more updates.
