The video song was released today on social media and has already received one million views
The much-awaited video song of Arabic Kuthu - Halamithi Habibo from Beast was released today. Taking to social media, the film's production shared, "The most expected video song of #HalamithiHabibo is here https://youtube.com/watch?v=KUN5Uf9mObQ @actorvijay @Nelsondilpkumar @anirudhofficial @hegdepooja @jonitamusic @selvaraghavan @manojdft @AlwaysJani @Nirmalcuts @KiranDrk #BeastModeON #Beast #ArabicKuthuVideoSong (sic)."The song had become a chartbuster and the video song is also being shared widely after release, hitting one million views already.
Interestingly, Beast is now all set to stream on Netflix and Sun NXT on May 15. Though the film has received mixed reviews from the audience and critics, it doesn't look like fans of the actor are affected by it. They are eagerly awaiting the OTT release. The previous film of Sun Pictures, too, released on both platforms after a month of its theatrical release.
Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, stars Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead along with an ensemble cast. This includes Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Aparna Das, Shaji Chen, Sathish Krishnan, Ankur Ajit Vikal and Liliput. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing is by R Nirmal.
The plot revolves around a former RAW agent who sets out to rescue around 200 people trapped in a mall in Chennai after a group of terrorists hijack the place. How the former ex-RAW agent handles the situation forms the crux of the story. A set resembling a shopping mall was erected and majority of the portions were shot there. The man behind the production design was DRK Kiran. Portions for the film were canned in Chennai, Delhi and Georgia. The film released in theatres on the occasion of the Tamil New Year.
In the meantime, Vijay has begun shooting for his next directed by Vamsi Paidipally in Hyderabad. Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady in the film. The film is tentatively referred as Thalapathy 66.
