Vidaamuyarchi update: Check out Arjun Sarja’s look from Ajith Kumar-starrer action thriller

While fans of Ajith Kumar often complain about not getting updates about the actor's projects more often, the makers of Vidaamuyarchi have been recently dropping update after update about the film. Now, in the latest, the makers of the upcoming film released a new character poster featuring Arjun Sarja.

After sharing screen space with Ajith Kumar in the hit film Mankatha, Arjun Sarja will be once again collaborating with the actor in Vidaamuyarchi. A new character poster featuring Arjun was released on Sunday. It shows Arjun clad in a jacket and coolers, as he is standing on a deserted road. Ajith's silhouette is also superimposed on the poster.

Vidaamuyarchi is written and directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni in his first collaboration with the actor. Lyca Productions is backing the film, which is currently under production.

While the official release date for the film is yet to be announced, as per reports, Lyca Productions is keen to release the film in October 2024, for the occasion of Aayudha Pooja or Deepavali season. The team is actively considering October 10 and October 31, 2024, as the potential release dates of Vidaamuyarchi. However, a final decision on the same will be made only after director Magizh Thirumeni and his team wrap up the entire filming of the Ajith starrer.

Apart from Ajith Kumar and Arjun, the film also stars Trisha as the female lead. She had played an important part in Mankatha as well. Actors Regina Cassandra and Arav play pivotal roles in the film, which is touted to be an action thriller. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs and original score for the movie. Nirav Shah is the director of photography. The plot of the film has been kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, Ajith will be next working with filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran for a film titled Good Bad Ugly. It will be released for Pongal in January 2025.
