Vidaa Muyarchi will see the onscreen reunion of Ajith Kumar and Trisha after a gap of about eight years.
It won't be wrong to say that Vidaa Muyarchi is one of the most-awaited Tamil movies of 2024. Starring Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar in the lead role, the majority of the movie has been shot in Azerbaijan.
With the production of the movie going non-stop, the producers have been very prudent when it comes to sharing new updates. According to some industry sources, the production is fast nearing completion and the producers are in the process of kick-starting promotions.
It's believed that the first look of Vidaa Muyarchi will be unveiled in the second week of February, giving the fans a glimpse of the movie's style and Ajith's character look. The production is expected to wrap up by the end of February, with an eye on the release in April.

The production of Vidaa Muyarchi went on the floors earlier this year. The movie will see the onscreen reunion of Ajith and Trisha after a gap of about eight years. The last time the duo appeared together onscreen was in director Gautham Menon's cop drama Yennai Arindhaal (2015).
The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja and Arav of Bigg Boss Tamil fame.
Written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame, the film faced uncertainties at the beginning as the director took more time than expected to finalize the script. This delay raised concerns among Ajith's fans, putting additional pressure on the producers at Lyca Productions.
It's noteworthy that Lyca Productions initially had roped in director Vignesh Shivan to help Ajith's next movie. However, Vignesh was fired from the project a few months after the announcement owing to creative differences. According to reports, the producers didn't like Vignesh's final script for the movie.

And soon the producers brought in Magizh Thirumeni to direct Ajith in their production venture.
Ajith was last seen in the drama Thunivu. Written and directed by H. Vinoth, the movie was released in cinemas in 2023. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film achieved box office success, adding to the anticipation surrounding Ajith's upcoming venture, Vidaa Muyarchi.
