Vidaa Muyarchi: THIS actor who shot to limelight with Lokesh Kanagaraj's films to star in Ajith's next

The movie to be helmed by Magizh Thirumeni is expected to go on floors soon,

Ajith's next, Vidaa Muyarchi, which has Magizh Thirumeni at the helm, is expected to begin shooting soon. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project which has music composed by Anirudh. Though makers are yet to reveal other updates on the movie, Trisha is said to be playing the female lead in the film.

Earlier titled AK 62, Netflix had acquired its post theatrical digital release a few months ago. Going by a few sources, the project is likely to be released in theatres as a summer outing in 2024.

Fans of Ajith and other cinephiles are now waiting for other updates on Vidaa Muyarchi. The star, who was on a bike tour, is expected to begin another trip in November. It is expected that makers would wrap up a lion's share of shooting by then.

We now hear that actor Arjun Das has been roped in to play a major character in the project. Shot to fame with Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi, he was seen in notable roles in Master and Vikram, too. He is likely to be seen in the filmmaker's forthcoming movie Leo as well.

Meanwhile, a few pictures of Ajith posing with some of his fans and others have been doing the rounds on social media. Fans are curious to know about the new look the star would sport in Vidaa Muyarchi which is expected to be an action drama.

As per the earlier plans, the star was supposed to have two releases this year. However, dropping the project with Vignesh Shivan spoiled the initial plans. For now, an official update on the film's cast is awaited.
