SonyLIV surprised Tamil movie lovers last year when they came up with Kasada Tabara, an anthology of six films, produced by Venkat Prabhu and Ravindran. The digital platform has now announced another anthology featuring four movies, helmed by Venkat Prabhu, Pa Ranjith, Rajesh M and Chimbudevan.

This time, too, Venkat Prabhu and Ravindran have bankrolled the project. They released a trailer of one-and-a-half minute duration as well offering a glimpse into all the four films.

Rajesh M's film which has been titled Mirage is a mystery thriller starring Priya Bhavani Shankar and Natty. Tipped as a mystery thriller, the movie revolves around the conflict between two characters.

Thambi Ramaiah and Nasser play lead roles in Chimbudevan's fantasy thriller Kottai Pakku Vathalum Mottai Maadi Sitharum. The latter essays a mysterious character; the 400-year-old visits his village every 50 years to interact with his family members.

Guru Somasundaram, Kalaiyarasan, Hari Krishnan and Lizzie Antony essay lead characters in Pa Ranjith's Dhammam which revolves around the issues faced by a farmer's family. A few arrogant people from a forward caste ask a farmer and his family hailing from a backward caste to refrain from farming after a dispute occurs between them.

Venkat Prabhu's Confession stars Amala Paul and Prasanna in lead roles. The latter, a professional shooter, has been hired to assassinate the former. Will he be able to finish her off?

Sam CS, Premgi, Ganesh Sekar and Tenma have composed music for Victim while R Saravanan, Sakthi Saravanan and Thamizh A Azhagan have handled cinematography. Lawrence Kishore, Akash Thomas, Selva RK and Venkat Raajen are in charge of editing the anthology.

Victim, which boasts of talented actors and filmmakers, will start streaming on SonyLIV on August 5.
