Vicky Kaushal is all set to feature in Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur. The actor will be seen essaying the role of India's first field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Nearly two months before its theatrical release, the teaser of Sam Bahadur dropped today (October 13).
At the teaser launch of his movie, Vicky spoke about his movie releasing amid the theatrical releases of Tiger 3 and Merry Christmas. Both films feature his wife Katrina Kaif.
'I am sandwiched between Katrina's films'
Vicky was present at the teaser launch of Sam Bahadur that was held in Mumbai. The actor was asked to express his feelings regarding his movie's release between Katrina's films.
To this, Kaushal said, "She is excited about my film and I am excited about her film. And she has not just got one film after my film but she has got one film two weeks before my film also. I am sandwiched between her films and it is a great spot to be in."
About Sam Bahadur
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw. He served as the Chief Of Army Staff during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. Vicky will be seen alongside Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Sam Bahadur to clash with Animal
Vicky's upcoming film, Sam Bahadur will be released on December 1, 2023. It is all set to clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal at the box office. It is said to be one of the big Bollywood clashes in the last month of this year.
About Katrina's upcoming films
Katrina will next be seen in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. The YRF movie is expected to release in cinemas on November 12, 2023. A month later, the actress has Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi. It is slated to hit the big screen on December 8, 2023.
