Vicky Kaushal calls Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki a ‘badi pyaari film’ - Here is why

2023 has been a special year for Vicky Kaushal and his fans. He featured in titular roles in as many as three theatricals namely Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, The Great Indian Family, and Sam Bahadur. Not only this, but the 35-year-old actor even has a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Dunki – which is expected to hit the theatres on December 21. Clearly, Vicky has won the hearts of his fans in 2023. With the year nearing its end, Vicky Kaushal has urged his fans today to watch Dunki theatrically.

Addressing a press conference today in Mumbai, Vicky Kaushal expressed that he feels great to be a part of Dunki. He even showered his love for filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and superstar Shah Rukh Khan who gave him a chance to play a role in the film.

Vicky Kaushal said, “Dunki ja kar dekhna. Jaise Shah Rukh sir keh rahe hai... apni mummy, papa, girlfriend, sabko ke saath ja kar dekho yeh film. Bahut pyaari film hai yeh.” (Do watch Dunki. Just like Shah Rukh Khan sir is preaching, do watch the film with your family and friends. It is a lovely film.)

Praising filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, he said, “Raju sir is a celebrated filmmaker. His films are always special. I will not speak much about the film. Let the film do the talking. But I must say that it is a lovely film.”

Wrapping up the conversation, Vicky Kaushal also showered his love for Shah Rukh Khan. He said, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) is very sweet. I won’t say much about his role in the film. All I can say is that there is nobody like him. He is truly special to me.”

Dunki stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal (billed as a special appearance), and Boman Irani.
