What is the story of Vichithram?
The movie revolves around a mother and her five sons. Ever since her husband passed away, life has been tough for Jasmine (Jolly Chirayath) with her also being estranged from her family. But after her brother passes away, she and her sons move into his mansion, which houses secrets and ghosts from the past. The events they experience in a span of 10 days form the plot of Vichithram, which is scripted by Nikhil Ravindran.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Achu said, “Vichithram is a crime mystery thriller that will also provide a horror experience. Horror doesn’t apply just to the presence of ghosts. The movie has several elements that will shock the audience.”
The team had paid a lot of attention to the visual treatment of the slow-burn mystery thriller as well as its sound design to ensure that the horror elements had maximum impact when the audience watched it in theatres.
