Actor Manju Warrier has begun the dubbing works for her upcoming Tamil film Vettaiyan, the makers of the film announced on social media on Wednesday. The film is all set to hit big screens on October 10, the makers reconfirmed.
Actor Manju Warrier, who was recently seen in Malayalam film Footage, will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Vettaiyan. On Wednesday, the makers announced that Manju Warrier has begun dubbing for her portion.

Vettaiyan is set to release in theatres on October 10. The Rajinikanth-starrer will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Vettaiyan is written and directed by filmmaker TJ Gnanavel, who last made the critically acclaimed film Jai Bhim.
The upcoming film is touted to be a cop thriller, and is backed by Lyca Productions. The film features a star ensemble cast hailing from different languages, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh and others. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music. The film is shot by cinematographer SR Kathir I.S.C, with Philomin Raj handling the edits. The stunts are planned by Anbariv duo and K Kadhir is the production designer. Vettaiyan marks the first time Gnanavel is working with Rajinikanth.

It is to be noted that both Vettaiyan and Kanguva are scheduled to release on October 10. Kanguva is headlined by actor Suriya and directed by Siruthai Siva. Touted to be a fantasy action period drama, Kanguva also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu and others.
There are strong speculations that Kanguva will be delayed, in order to avoid clashes with the Rajinikanth film. Kanguva is backed by KE Gnanavelraja who had earlier said that he will not clash with Rajinikanth at the box office. An official announcement on Kanguva’s new release date is yet to be announced.
