Manassilayo, the first single from the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan, is finally out. The superstar is seen shaking a leg with Anirudh Ravichander and Manju Warrier, in the video.
Vettaiyan, the long-awaited Rajinikanth starrer directed by TJ Gnanavel is gearing up for a grand release in October 2024. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped the long-awaited first single from the film, Manassilayo, on social media. The peppy dance number composed by Anirudh Ravichander has been winning the internet. Rajinikanth is seen shaking a leg with Anirudh and leading lady Manju Warrier, in the song video. The voice of legendary singer Malaysia Vasudevan is recreated using AI, for the song.
The 4.05-minute-long dance number features a fun dance number set in the backdrop of a Kerala-themed festival. The lyrics, penned by Super Subu and Vishnu Edavan, bring together a blend of Malayalam and Tamil languages, and it works in parts. However, the electrifying composition by Anirudh Ravichander makes the song a fun number, that resonates with the masses. Legendary singer Malaysia Vasudevan’s voice is recreated for the ‘Manassilayo’ song, which is jointly sung by Anirudh, Yugendran Vasudevan, and Deepthi Suresh.

The legendary superstar has set the screens on fire with his iconic style statement and signature dance moves, in the ‘Manassilayo’ song video from Vettaiyan. Rajinikanth is joined by music composer Anirudh Ravichander and leading lady Manju Warrier, who perfectly complimented him with their graceful moves. From the lyrical video, it is safe to assume that the ‘Manassilayo’ song number is going to be a complete treat for both the fans of Rajinikanth and Anirudh, as well as the Tamil cinema audiences, on the big screen.

Amitabh Bachchan is making a cameo appearance in Vettaiyan, which stars Rajinikanth in the titular role. Manju Warrier appears as the superstar’s wife in the film, which features a stellar star cast Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dusshara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan and others in the supporting roles.
