The much-anticipated Tamil Vettaiyan is soon to be released in theatres on October 10. Ahead of this, the makers are set to release the trailer of the Rajinikanth-starrer on October 2. Now in the latest, the runtime of Vettaiyan has been revealed, with the film completing censor formalities.
Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of Vettaiyan which is scheduled to release on October 10. Now, with just a few days ahead of its release, the film has completed the censor formalities. The film has earned a U/A certificate and has a runtime of 2 hours and 43 minutes.
Vettaiyan is an action cop drama, which is written and directed by filmmaker TJ Gnanavel. It marks the first time Gnanavel is collaborating with Rajinikanth. The film is produced by Lyca Productions and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, and others in important roles.
In the film, Rajinikanth plays a police official who is also an encounter specialist, while Amitabh Bachchan plays a man who is against it.

Vettaiyan’s single Manasilaayo has become viral on the internet and has become an instant chartbuster. The makers recently conducted the movie’s audio launch. For those who missed it, the show can be streamed on the SunNXT app and Sun TV this coming Sunday at 3 pm.
Actor Rajinikanth along with the cast and crew of the film attended the function. It will also be available on OTTplay Premium app which can be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store.
The film is shot by cinematographer SR Kathir ISC and B Kiruthika has penned the screenplay. Other parts of the technical crew include K Kadhir as production designer, Anbariv handling the stunts, editor Philomin Raj, and art director Sakthee Venkatraj M. The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Prime Video.
