Vettaiyan first single: Rajinikanth reunites with Anirudh Ravichander for an electrifying number?

Vettaiyan, the Rajinikanth-starrer directed by TJ Gnanavel, is gearing up for Ayudha Pooja 2024 release. Anirudh Ravichander and team are now set to drop the Vettaiyan first single, soon.

Rajinikanth is joining hands with Jai Bhim fame director TJ Gnanavel for his 170th project, which has been titled Vettaiyan. The highly anticipated project, which is touted to be an out-and-out action thriller stars the superstar in the titular role. Recently, Lyca Productions and music composer Anirudh Ravichander took to their official social media handles and confirmed that the much-awaited Vettaiyan first single is gearing up for its grand release, very soon.

Vettaiyan first single update is out

Anirudh Ravichander, who reunites with Rajinikanth for Vettaiyan after the massive success of Jailer took to his official social media handles and made a special post, recently. “#Manasilayo #Vettaiyan song coming soon... #HunterVaraar,” reads the celebrated musician’s X (formerly Twitter) post. Lyca Productions, the prestigious banner that bankrolls the TJ Gnanavel directorial, confirmed the same and wrote: “Hunter dude is coming to blast your speakers! The 1st Single from #Vettaiyan coming soon...! #Manasilayo.”

From the social media posts of Anirudh Ravichander and Lyca Productions, it is safe to assume that the highly anticipated Vettaiyan first single might be named ‘Manasilayo’ (the Malayalam word that translates to ‘understand?’). The hashtags in both the music composer and production banner’s social media handles also suggests that leading man Rajinikanth’s character might be called ‘Hunter’ in the film. More updates on the Vettaiyan first single, including its release date and time are expected to be out soon.

All about Vettaiyan

As per the latest updates, Rajinikanth is set to appear in the role of Vettaiyan, a highly powerful police officer in the upcoming TJ Gnanavel directorial. Manju Warrier, the lady superstar of Malayalam cinema recently confirmed that she is playing the role of Rajinikanth’s wife, in the highly anticipated project. Amitabh Bachchan is making a cameo appearance in the film, which stars Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles.

Vettaiyan features a stellar star cast including Abhirami, Rithik Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, GM Sundar, and others in supporting roles. SR Kathir is the director of photography. Philomin Raj handles the editing. The movie, produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions, will hit the theatres on October 10, 2024.
