The makers of Vettaiyan are all set to conduct a grand audio and prevue event of the Rajinikanth starrer, ahead of the release. From the event date, time, and venue, here’s all you need to know.
Vettaiyan, the highly anticipated 170th film of Rajinikanth is gearing up to be released on October 10, 2024. The movie, which is touted to be a cop thriller, marks the superstar’s first onscreen collaboration with Jai Bhim fame director, TJ Gnanavel. Ahead of the theatrical release, the makers of Vettaiyan are planning to have a grand promotional campaign for the film. The team recently confirmed the Vettaiyan audio and prevue event is set to happen on September 20, 2024, with a social media post.
Lyca Productions, the prestigious banner that bankrolls the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer recently took to their official social media handles and made a big announcement. The makers confirmed that the audio and prevue of Vettaiyan will be officially launched at a grand event, which will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024. “Mark your calendars! The VETTAIYAN Audio & Prevue event is happening on Sept 20 at Nehru Stadium, 6 PM onwards. Get set for a star-studded evening!” reads the post.

Later, Lyca Productions took to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle and made yet another official announcement, which left the cine-goers highly excited. “The VETTAIYAN Character hunt starts today! Starting off with a double-dhamaka... Stay tuned for the next one week as we introduce the characters to you every day!” revealed the makers. As per the reports, the team will reveal two character posters from the film, featuring two popular stars who play key roles in the film, very soon.
Rajinikanth appears in the role of Vettaiyan, a senior police officer in the TJ Gnanavel directorial. Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood superstar is making a cameo appearance in the film. Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Abhirami, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and others appear in the key roles in the film. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs and original score. SR Kathir I.S.C is the director of photography. The Rajinikanth starrer is produced by A Subaskaran, under the banner Lyca Productions.
