Veteran star Krishna enjoys great goodwill among the film fraternity and fans alike and it's because of the fact that the former gives everyone their due and has to come to their rescue when necessary. However, he has an even more special equation with one of his ardent fans, BA Raju. The latter regularly interacted with the star whenever he was in and around Vijayawada and Krishna did everything in his capacity to give a solid foundation to BA Raju's career as a journalist, who later founded his own magazine Superhit, worked as a PR for over 1600 films, and even turned a film producer.

BA Raju had passed away exactly a year ago and on his first death anniversary, Krishna shared a video talking of his association with him. "He was my big fan and we met regularly at Vijayawada. I insisted that he come to Madras and entrusted him with the responsibility of responding to fan mails. (BA Raju is even popularly known as Uttharala Raju) When he wanted to become a journalist, I recommended him to join Jyothichitra and he had a formidable career in the media, working with many publications besides sustaining good rapport with the film fraternity," he said.

Krishna also talked of the magazine that BA Raju had started, Superhit and commended his skill to popularise it across nooks and corners of the globe. He remembered of his visit to Chicago when an Indian shop in a street had only two Telugu publications, of which Superhit was one. "Such was the popularity of Superhit and he later turned a producer too, earning a good name for himself. His sudden demise has left a void in the industry that no one can fill," the star stated.

Later in the day, Krishna's son-in-law and actor-producer Sudheer Babu too fondly remembered BA Raju. "He was very close to our family and my favourite media relations person. He always had suggestions for me about my film choices and recommended quality technicians for my projects. He greeted everyone with a smile and he respected everyone, regardless of the stature of the actor or the production house. I miss him and his warmth." Chantigadu, Premikulu, Lovely and Vaisakham were some of the films that BA Raju had produced.
