The fan favourite Marvel villain Venom played by Tom Hardy will be making an appearance again on big screens,
The second installment of the popular anti-hero Venom will be released in theatres on October 15. The news was announced on the movie’s official Instagram page with a poster of Venom and Carnage tearing each other apart.The film that was earlier scheduled to release on September 24, 2021, was rescheduled several times due to the pandemic. Finally, the release date was confirmed and announced by the makers today and the netizens are sharing the news extensively.

The trailer of the movie, released a week ago showing Venom and the new villain Carnage fighting a gruesome and gory fight, was well received by the fans.Tom Hardy will play Venom/ Eddie Brock again, marking his third role as a comic book character. He played the brutal Bane in the Christopher Nolan movie Batman: Dark Knight Rises. In Venom he plays the protagonist Eddie Brock, a struggling photojournalist who stumbles upon a symbiotic matter from space which possesses his body as a host.

Woody Harrelson will be playing Venom’s arch-enemy Carnage in the movie. Carnage is shown as someone stronger than Venom in the trailer. Meanwhile, Michelle Williams will be reprising her role as Anne Weying, ex-girlfriend of Eddie Brock and his love interest.
