Spider-Man: No Way Home’s post credit had a piece of the Symbiote left behind in the Tom Holland timeline.
Sony casually decided to drop the trailer for one of their most-awaited movies last evening and the fans have been having a ball over the same. The trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, aka Venom 3, is finally on the internet, and fans and nerds are now all set to dissect every bit of the trailer. The anticipation is justified because this is technically the last Venom movie and a film that reportedly goes back to a young Peter Parker. There is so much happening in the trailer that we will at least need a day off to sit and analyse. But while a lot is happening, none of us expected that the makers would drop a Spider-Man: No Way Home Easter egg so casually in the trailer. Oh wait, you did not observe?
That the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home had the address somewhere was a mandate, but no one knew that would happen so soon. In case you cannot recall, to brush up your memory, we see Tom Hardy as Eddie in a bar in real-time in the post-credits of the third Tom Holland film from his Spidey trilogy. Soon, when the bartender is about to bring him his drink, he gets sucked up into his timeline like the rest did when they closed the gates to the multiverse. But the camera zooms in on the table and we see a piece of Symbiote left behind. Venom: The Last Dance is about to tell us what happened after that. Read on to learn everything about it.
If you have seen the trailer closely, you might have observed many things. But the real deal begins when Chiwetel Ejiofor enters the story and she is at the same spot from where Eddie was sent back to his timeline. The bar—yes, the same bar. If you look closely, there is a piece of the Venom Symbiote that he discovers and immediately captures in a glass tube. The trailer soon moves ahead to discuss that they are not the only species in the universe and we meet the other Symbiote.
This means the movie will somehow tie up with the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy in a much bigger way. The post-credits of Venom: Let There Be Carnage had the Symbiote take him to another timeline, showing him the vastness of the multiverse. It was here that Eddie saw Tom Holland’s Peter Parker for the first time. So technically, Tom Hardy has all the chances to meet Tom Holland in the Sony X Marvel universe if there is already a plan in place.
