Venkatesh Daggubati is a big name in the Telugu film industry and Sivakarthikeyan is one of the most beloved stars in the Tamil film industry. The latest news is that the two actors will team up for an upcoming project.

According to IANS, Venkatesh and Sivakarthikeyan will work together in director K.V. Anudeep’s next. Anudeep, who made his debut with Pittagoda in 2016, turned heads with his film Jathi Rathnalu last year, starring Naveen Polishetty.

The movie will reportedly be a comedy entertainer and a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project. The movie is backed by Venkatesh's brother Suresh Babu under his SP Productions.

While other information about the movie is still guarded closely by the makers, sources close to the movie reveal that the project will soon be launched with a muhurat event.

Venkatesh last appeared in two Amazon Prime Video films. Narappa, the remake of Dhanush’s Asuran and Drushyam 2, the remake of the Drishyam 2, which was the sequel to Drishyam starring Mohanlal.

The actor is currently working F3, standalone sequel to the 2019 film F2: Fun and Frustration, and the second film in the Fun and Frustration series. The actor will also be seen alongside Rana Daggubati in Netflix’s Rana Naidu.

Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s black comedy thriller Doctor, which is available to stream on Netflix. The actor is now working on Cibi Chakaravarthi’s action comedy Don and R. Ravikumar’s sci-fi comedy Ayalaan.
