Shruti Haasan plays the leading lady, while Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra essay crucial roles
Balakrishna Nandamuri hasn't been busier in his career - he is working on the second season of his talk show Unstoppable, shot for his first ever commercial recently, gracing business events as a chief guest while also filming for his upcoming action entertainer Veera Simha Reddy, earlier titled #NBK107. Written and directed by Gopichand Malineni, Shruti Haasan is the female lead of the actioner that also marks the Telugu debut of Kannada star Duniya Vijay as the antagonist.
After a grand title announcement event at Konda Reddy Buruju in Kurnool, the team of Veera Simha Reddy is back to shoot-mode for a heavy-duty action sequence. Balakrishna is fighting out a group of henchmen from the villain's camp in the scene that's slated to arrive at a crucial juncture in the film. The director has worked hard to give it a larger-than-life appeal for the sequence designed by action choreographer Venkat.
The makers share that Veera Simha Reddy is a film based on true incidents. The film is all set to release for Sankranti 2023 and the glimpses surrounding it have impressed the fans of the Akhanda star. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra too play important roles in the action entertainer which has a special song featuring Australian actress, model Chandrika Ravi. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers.
S Thaman is leaving no stone unturned to come up with an album with intense, catchy numbers after Akhanda. Rishi Punjabi cranks the camera for the project which has dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. Navin Nooli is the editor of the film while AS Prakash is the production designer. Chandu Ravipati is the executive producer and the action sequences are choreographed by Ram-Lakshman duo and Venkat.
