Vedaa on OTT: Abraham and Sharvari ready to battle injustice | Check out new poster

The action thriller film 'Vedaa' starring John Abraham and Sharvari in the lead roles was released in cinemas on August 15 coinciding with Independence Day. The film follows the journey of a determined Dalit girl Vedaa (Sharvari), who addresses the pressing issues of caste-based injustice and crimes. Major Abhimanyu (John) helps her in her fight for justice. Nearly eight weeks after its theatrical run, the action drama film had its OTT premiere on ZEE5 on October 10.

Today, on October 11, the makers of the film unveiled a new poster featuring John Abraham and Sharvari. In the poster, both the actors can be seen running in one direction while John has a knife in his hand as they are ready to fight against injustice. Sharing the poster on their Instagram account, the streamer captioned it: "Just her and her supporter against the demons of injustice #Vedaa now streaming on #ZEE5"

Talking about Vedaa's OTT release, Sharvari stated that playing Vedaa Berwa has been an enriching experience for her. "She is someone who seeked equality and justice. I felt her fire to stand up and fight for what is right. Its very overwhelming to receive so much love and appreciation for Vedaa, and it means the world to me to be part of a film that makes you think. Through boxing and martial arts training, Vedaa discovers her strength and voice in the film. I can’t wait for audiences to witness her inspiring journey," the actress added.

Along with John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh, the cast of the film also features Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment and is directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film is currently streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
