Ved Twitter review: Audiences are in love with Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza all over again

Ved also sees a cameo appearance by Salman Khan.

Riteish Deshmukh’s directorial debut film Ved has released in theatres today. The film stars his wife Genelia D’Souza as his lover even in the movie. If that wasn’t reason enough for you, the audiences are thrilled to see the cute couple back on screen.

Various people caught the first day first show of Ved and are pretty impressed with Riteish’s directorial. Right from the storytelling to the execution of scenes, the viewers have been going gaga over Ved.

Many have called the movie a family entertainer. This does not come as a surprise since the film it appears to be inspired from – Majili – was a beautiful love story too.

Ved, which means crazy, is the story of how a man goes crazy for love and how another woman is crazy about him. She goes to the extent of worshipping him.

The film marks Riteish and Genelia’s comeback in the Marathi film industry. The two were recently seen on screen in Mister Mummy but Ved is a film many have been looking forward to ever since the promos released.

Ved also features Salman Khan in a cameo appearance. Salman is seen in the song Ved Lavlay with Riteish. The two match steps in the track. Not just that, the video also shows a love angle between Riteish-Genelia.

The film stars Jiya Shankar, Shubhankar Tawde and Ashok Saraf in pivotal roles. It has released in theatres. The OTT release date and platform for Ved is yet to be decided.
