VD11: First look of Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer to be out on THIS date

The film, directed by Shiva Nirvana, also features Jayaram, Sachin Khadekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Ayyangar and Sharanya Pradeep.

It's Vijay Deverakonda’s 33rd birthday today and the makers of the star’s new project, tentatively titled VD11, had a surprise in store for fans. The makers announced the date when the first look from the film will be released.

The film’s production banner, Mythri Movie Makers announced the news today on their official social media handles. Deverakonda is currently busy working on the film and had even celebrated his birthday on the film’s sets today. Wishing the Arjun Reddy actor, the makers posted a photograph, featuring him and the film’s cast and crew.

The first look from the film will be released on May 16, Monday.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will star as the female lead in the film, alongside Deverakonda. The film also features Jayaram, Sachin Khadekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Ayyangar and Sharanya Pradeep in pivotal roles.

Touted to be a romantic family entertainer, VD11 is currently in the leg of its Kashmir shoot schedule, which is on the verge of being wrapped up. After its completion, the cast and crew will head to Hyderabad, Vizag and Alleppey for the subsequent schedules.

Shiva Nirvana has written and directed the film.The upcoming film will be produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.

Meanwhile, Deverakonda is currently awaiting the release of his pan-India film Liger, which also stars Ananya Panday. The makers of the Puri Jagannadh directorial have unveiled a teaser of the film’s theme song today.

Liger will be released in theatres on August 25, 2022. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
