Vattam release date: When and where to watch the suspense thriller starring Sibiraj, Andrea and Athulya online

The makers of Vattam announced a while ago that the movie will skip theatrical release, and is going the OTT way. Kamalakannan of Madhubana Kadai has directed the film which has been bankrolled by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.

Sibiraj, Andrea Jeremiah and Athulya Ravi among others play lead roles in the project which has Vamsi Krishna and Balasaravanan, too, essaying crucial characters. The movie marks the OTT debut of both Sibiraj and Athulya.

What's Vattam about?

The film revolves around an ambitious youngster who sets out to make money illegally with the help of his friend. However, he is haunted by the heartbreak he has been suffering from for a while. The emotional fluctuation he suffers from lands him in trouble while indulging in an illegal activity.

What happens further forms the rest of the story. Billed as a suspense thriller, Vattam has PV Shankar and T Shivanandeeswaran handling cinematography and editing respectively. Nivas K Prasanna has composed music for the project which has action choreography helmed by Sudesh. Shrinivas Kavinayam has penned the screenplay for the film along with director Kamalakannan.

When and where to watch Vattam online?

The movie will drop on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29. The makers have released character posters of lead actors from the film earlier today. Sibi plays Mano, Andrea essays Parvathi and Athulya will be seen as Kokilavani in the project which has Chaitra as Jayakamala and Vamsi as Gowtham.

Vattam is Sibiraj's third outing this year after Ranga and Maayon. The film is the first release this year for both Andrea and Athulya. The movie is also the first project which brings the three actors together.
