Vasishta N. Simha in 'Love...Li'
Vasishta N. Simha is easily one of the more talented artists working in Kannada Cinema today. The actor boasts of a tall and presentable frame, credible acting chops, and a splendid baritone that has rendered several amazing songs. Having made his debut with Hemanth M. Rao's 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu', Vasishta has moved up the ranks over time to now command lead roles in exciting projects. One such is the intense-looking romantic thriller 'Love...Li', whose first look was unveiled yesterday, on May 21.
Pulling on a cigarette and clutching a shape machete, Vasishta Simha's blood-soaked avatar in the 'Love...Li' first look is surely eye-catching. The bloodied hands and clothes, along with his intense and provocative eyes, surely reveal that the film will be raw and potent that is all about love at its heart. Chethan Keshav has written and directed the film with M.R. Ravindra Kumar bankrolling it.
According to recent online reports, TV actress Samikshaa will be playing the female lead in the film. The Muddu Manigalu actor will be seen playing a corporate girl in 'Love... Li' whose relationship with Vasishta's character makes up the crux of the story and the twist arrives when she learns of his rather shady past. Samikshaa also played a key role in the Puneeth Rajkumar starrer James.
On the other hand, Vasishta N. Simha has been finding many interesting opportunities in Telugu cinema and has even shared screenspace with the veteran Daggubati Venkatesh in Narappa. Soon after, he would make his debut as a hero with Nayeem Diaries, a film based on the slain Naxalite Mohammad Nayeemuddin. He also has an audio label to his name called Simmhaa Audio which was recently launched by ace music composer Hamsalekha.
