Varun Dhawan.
Varun Dhawan’s fans, gather here! Earlier in 2024, the 36-year-old actor shared the exciting news about his upcoming movie Baby John. The highly anticipated film, led by talented director Atlee, was first set to debut on May 31. However, there are rumours circulating that the release date could be pushed back to a later time, possibly a month or two beyond the original schedule. According to a fresh report this evening, Baby John is likely to be released either in June or July.
According to a report by Peeping Moon, Baby John’s release date is yet to be finalized. However, sources close to the news outlet believe that the film would most likely be released in June or July.
The report further mentioned that the delay in this thrilling action movie is mainly because of unfinished production and post-production work. Despite having been in production for more than 75 days (about 2 and a half months) since August 2023, there are still around 10-12 days (about 1 week 5 days) of shooting remaining. The film is expected to wrap up by the end of April. After that, a lengthy post-production process will begin, making it very difficult to stick to the initial release date.
With this development, a buzz in the entertainment industry feels that Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated sci-fi epic, Kalki 2898 AD would be released on May 31 instead of Baby John. This date is special for Deepika Padukone fans as the starlet’s iconic film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was released on the same date in the year 2013.
Amid such reports, Varun Dhawan dropped a cryptic message on his Instagram Story today. The message read, “Don’t give up.” It appears that he is not happy to know about Baby John’s release delay.
This film signifies the first collaboration between Varun Dhawan as an actor and Atlee as a director.
